Ready To Go 70.3 Training Plans

MBPC 12 week triathlon training plans built specifically for 70.3 Triathlons, with Ironman distances coming soon.

 

Matt Bottrill along with our MBPC Triathlon coaches Ian Dempsey and Adam Clarke have created these three 70.3 triathlon training plans. They build progression and consistency in your training which is the key to succeed. The final week of the program can be either a retest week for fitness building or leading into a race.

 

You will need to be using a power meter to complete these sessions along with a heart rate monitor for the running element of the program. The triathlon training plan will be ran through a basic Training Peaks account, there will be no feedback or coach interaction included in these programs. However, you will get an email towards the end of the program to see how you have got on and if you wished to have another program or come on board for the one to one triathlon coaching.

 

These set programs are tailored for 70.3 Triathlons and the athletes time available each week to train (8,10 or 12 hours per week). These are ideal for people who aren’t quite ready to commit to, or feel the need for, one to one coaching but want to get a feel for the MBPC one to one training in which we pride ourselves on.

Ability Level: No previous experience required.
