MBPC 12 week winter triathlon training plans built specifically for the winter base building phase relevant for 70.3 and Ironman Triathlons.

 

Matt Bottrill along with our MBPC Triathlon coaches have created these winter base building plans to help build progression and consistency in your training over the off season. 

 

These are ideal for people who aren’t quite ready to commit to, or feel the need for, one to one coaching but want to get a feel for the MBPC one to one training in which we pride ourselves on.

Tailor Made 12 week Tri Plans For Your Specific Events £180 

The 12 week triathlon training plan is an ideal way to prepare for your upcoming event, race, or even just to create some structure in your winter training, before taking that step to full coaching, and a great way to see if MBPC coaching is right for you, as It follows all the same coaching philosophies that underpin our 1-2-1 coaching. Can be done for Duathlon, Triathlon including Ironman, 70.3, Olympic and Sprint distances.

 

- Included in the 12 week coaching plan

- Periodised swim, bike and run sessions tailored to suit your schedule

- Specific sessions designed around your goals

- Training plan created on Training peaks

- Race plan for your goal event via Training Peaks

- Descriptions of the key sessions to help get the most out of the training

MBPC  Beginner Winter Training Plan  

Average of 8-9 Hours a week 

MBPC Beginner Winter Plan Duration: 12 weeks Programme

Cost: £55

Equipment Required: Garmin / Polar or similar smart watch device that will link to Training Peaks. Basic (Free) Training Peaks account (you can sign up to Training Peaks free here) Power Meter on bike or watt bike access. Heart Rate Monitor.

 This plan is designed to get you started for training, either for winter, or just a base period before you build to an event. On this plan there are 2 sessions of each sport per week, For this plan. you're probably quite early in your triathlon journey, or building back from a prolonged break. 

MBPC Intermediate Winter Training Plan 

Average 10 Hours a week

MBPC Intermediate  Winter Plan

Programme Duration: 12 weeks Programme

Cost: £55.00 

Equipment Required: Garmin / Polar or similar smart watch device that will link to Training Peaks. Basic (Free) Training Peaks account (you can sign up to Training Peaks free here​) Power Meter on bike or watt bike access. Heart Rate Monitor.

This plan is designed to get you started for training, either for winter, or just a base period before you build to an event. On this plan there are 2-3 sessions of each sport per week, For this plan you would probably have a years experience in the sport and are looking to build on your first events

MBPC Advanced Winter Training Plan

Average 12-13 Hours a week

MBPC Advanced Winter Training Plan

Programme Duration: 12 weeks Programme

Cost: £55.00  Equipment Required: Garmin / Polar or similar smart watch device that will link to Training Peaks. Basic (Free) Training Peaks account (you can sign up to Training Peaks free here) Power Meter on bike or watt bike access. Heart Rate Monitor.

This plan is designed to get you started for training, either for winter, or just a base period before you build to an event. On this plan there are 3 or 4 sessions of each sport per week, For this plan youre looking at building on last performances and take your training and racing towards the front end of races!
