Success on race day doesn’t come down to one discipline alone—it’s about mastering the swim, bike, and run, and knowing how each part of your performance sets up the next. That’s why the tri training review is designed to give  a complete assessment to refine every aspect of your training and racing.

Our tri training review takes the knowledge from the cycling review and applies this to triathletes, and further builds on the cycling specific advice to hopefully help guide you forward across all 3 disciplines.

Why the Triathlon Training Review can help?

One of the biggest performance limiters in triathlon is the swim. Even small technical issues can cost you valuable time and energy before you’ve even reached T1. That wasted effort can leave your bike and run suffering, no matter how strong you are in those disciplines.

We will ask for some video footage of your swim and then will identify where improvements can be made and recommend drills and techniques to help you swim faster—and crucially, more efficiently. It’s not just about shaving seconds off your swim split; it’s about arriving at the bike with more energy to carry you through the rest of the race.

On the Bike, we will look at previous training and races,  analyse strengths and weaknesses of your riding, to help guide you as to changes in how you structure the week, how you optimise existing sessions, or how to move forward in improving the areas we’ve identified to help you move to the next level on the bike.

Running in triathlon can be hard to analyse yourself as it comes at the end of the race, is largely impacted by the two previous sports, and the host of factors that come with racing, so here we look at your run performance, but in context of the entire training and performance load, so that we can help you to run better off the bike in a race.
